About the role
The Banksia Hill Detention Centre (the Centre) is Western Australia’s only facility for sentenced and remanded young people aged between 10 18 years old.
The Centre is directly responsible for ensuring the safety and security of young people in custody, in alignment with the principles outlined in the Young Offenders Act 1994 and Young Offender Regulations 1995.
The Cleaning Officer is responsible for daily cleaning operations within the Centre. This position also provides safe distribution and storage of all cleaning chemical within the Centre and is responsible for all waste removal
About you
The successful applicant will have :Certificate II in Cleaning OperationsRelevant knowledge and experience in commercial cleaning operations
Applicants must have a current Working with Children Check or be able to successfully apply for one to be eligible for appointment to this position
All employees are required to undergo employment screening, which includes a National Criminal History Check and other checks that may be relevant to the position requirements.
