Two people have died of coronavirus in Nepal. According to Health Ministry spokesperson Vikas Devkota, a 25-year-old man who died in Banke on Sunday has also been diagnosed with coronavirus infection.
Earlier, a 29-year-old woman from Sindhupalchowk who died on Thursday was also confirmed to have corona infection.
Minister for Social Development of State 5, Sudarshan Baral, told that a test conducted at Bheri Hospital showed coronavirus infection in the youth.
“His report is positive, and the death toll from the corona has risen to two,” Baral said.
Minister Baral informed that he has instructed to manage the corpse of the deceased on the basis of the procedure prepared by the Ministry of Health.
Minister Baral said that the body would be buried with the help of Nepal Army, Nepal Police and other security personnel. The youths who died on Sunday morning had gone to Mumbai, India for employment.
He had come to Nepal on April 12. Coming from India, he was taken directly to the quarantine.
